Honey Almond with Foie Gras Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 1/8
cup
All Purpose Flour
- 1/4
teaspoon
Baking Powder
- 5
tablespoon
Savannah Bee Company Tupelo Honey
- 1/2
cup
Chopped Almonds
- 1
Egg Yolk
- 2 1/2
tablespoon
Softened Unsalted Butter
- 3 1/2
tablespoon
Fois Gras Butter

Pinch of Salt

Directions:
|
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Fold all ingredients into a firm dough, adding the almonds at the end. Roll out on smooth surface to 3/8" thickness. Cut into circles or squares and place on cookie sheet.Bake for approximately 8 minutes. Remove and let cool.
Wonderful served with cheese, and/or drizzled with Savannah Bee Company Tupelo Honey.
