Honey perfection, Tupelo Honey is the gold standard by which all other honeys are measured. Two weeks every spring, White (Ogeche) Tupelo Trees bloom in the Southeastern swamps with fine sunburst-shaped flowers that glisten with nectar. Savannah Bee Company Tupelo Honey has buttery undertones and mellow, clean-finishing sweetness like a thick, slow-moving river of liquid sunshine. Tupelo Honey complements a variety of foods, but is so delicious, we like it best just with a spoon! KSA Kosher Certified.
BLOSSOM
These globe-shaped flowers bloom every April in the Altamaha and Apalachicola River Basins of Georgia and Florida. Tupelo Honey is also called "Swamp Honey."

Comment: This is, hands down, the best honey I have ever had in my life. They said it right when they said they would eat it with spoon! I used to put it in my tea but realized that the tea masked the flavor of the honey, so I stuck with a spoon!

Comment: OMG!!! I love the raw Tupelo honey. We bought the cheddar cheese there and it is fabulous. I've never had honey on cheese but now it's my avorite!!I was having a really bad day yesterday and my husband brought out a plate of the cheese covered with the honey and I am not kidding you when I say I felt 100% better afterwards. My mood picked up and I even told my husband that there must be Endorphin releasing agents in this honey!!! It truly is Gods Gold!!!

Comment: Thank you precious honeybees !! There simply isn't any comparison of another honey to Tupelo honey. As a hard working RN it's my treat during or after a long shift. A heaping spoonful in my tea and I'm able to close my eyes and relax. The only problem is I've introduced my fellow Nurses to Tupelo honey and now I find myself having to hide my jar as they too have become hooked.

Comment: This is thee greatest honey that mother nature has provided for those hard working bees. Wonderful aroma, buttery taste, smooth and never ever forms those ugly crystals of sugar...it is the only one my wife ever uses. When we went on a 14 day cruise to Alaska... She made sure she packed her honey for every afternoon tea. The people we sat with were very curious and got to sample it too. They thought is was grand also. So, Savannah alway keep in touch with those tupelo worker bees and we all can bee happy!Thanks,Magiclynn.com

Comment: I am a honey fanatic. I have tried many, many different varieties in my search for the perfect honey. I think that I've found it. Tupelo honey is incredible, buttery and smooth. It slips over the tongue like amber silk. There is absolutely nothing like it. The price of this honey comes from the fact that it's one of the rarest in the world (and becoming even rarer, as the forest where Tupelo is gathered has been getting smaller and smaller over the years), and the most difficult to produce (it comes from only one source, the White Tupelo Gum Tree, and is only gathered 2 days a year). Unlike other raw honeys, Tupelo honey does not crystallize or granulate. It stays silky-smooth down to the last drop. It's got the lowest dextrose sugar content of any honey, which makes it the better choice for those on sugar-restricted diets who want an occasional treat.

Comment: "HEAVEN" first spoon in my mouth and thats it.all the reviews are so right. this is the best honey ever ever ever.I never had an idea that honey can taste this good. Another thing which is intriguing is that this honey is raw and 100 % pure. so it has all the health benefits with it. One more surprising thing is that this honey has low sugar content compared to other supermart of the shelf honey. this one has 12g sugar and in the market you get the honey with 16g. it was surprising because this test so good with low sugar. its just unbelievable.

Comment: I purchased the Tupelo Flute while on a girls weekend and I must say, I am in love with this honey! It lives up to it's promise of having a smooth, buttery texture on the palette. I only take my Tupelo with a spoon as my after dinner dessert. I hope to share this wonderful honey with my friends and family.

Comment: I just purchased and sampled this honey for the very first time. I am blown away!! This is truly fantastic. There really is no comparison to the other commercial honeys I've found at my local grocery store. Those are mainly 'clover' brands and the quality, texture, taste do not even compare. For those who may be a little taken aback by the price, just consider this. If an event only happens once per year and you are able to capture the magic of it in a bottle AND savor some special moments alone or with friends, how much is that worth? A lot more than the cost of this bottle! One of the tastiest treats that God every created was this honey. I say go for it and treat yourself. You only live once.

Comment: Tupelo honey is like no other honey you have ever tasted. It is harvested for only a short amount of time every year, and it never crystalizes in the jar because it is so pure. Hence it's price. But it's worth every penny. If you are a honey lover....or just occasionally like a bit of natural sweetness in your tea, this will give your tea, toast, or crumpets an incomparable flavor. Not too sweet, not too strong. Smooth. Satisfying. Just right. Personally, I think it accents white tea, vanilla bean tea, oolong tea, or fruit flavored teas perfectly!

Comment: I am a nut for honey of all flavors and buy it in my travels. The tupelo honey from Savannah Bee Company is sweet and light and absolutely fantastic. The bottle is beautiful and would make a great gift. I didn't have any problems with the cork lid. I did wait until all the honey settled back into the bottom of the bottle before putting the lid back on. As with any honey keep the top/lid area clean and you won't have any problems reopening.

Comment: This is the best honey in the world. The taste is above anything you could buy at the grocery store. The buttery golden taste is wonderful with pears, cheese and crackers. It is a fast "throw together" platter when you have un-expected company that is sure to wow your guests. And their related body care line is fantastic! Made with the best all-natural ingredients, my skin had a noticeable glow and lips felt smooth and silky.

Comment: Tupelo honey is so romantic. Remember Elvis was born in Tupelo, Mississippi? I never liked Elvis, but the honey is absolutely "love me tender, love me sweet". Not too strong, not too dark, not like anything you've ever had. I love honey, everything BUT the "honey-flavored" packets some fast-food-joints pass out, trying to fool you. HUMPF! Tupelo honey is the stuff shooting stars are made of, watch your honey's gleamerz light up when he bites into hiz morning toast!I will buy this again, though it only for special occasions, because it is sooooo expensive. (But starlit eyes are irresistible, and worth it!)

Comment: I love this honey and keep a tower with its honey pump near the toaster. It's so thick and rich it hardly drips and is good on almost everything. For a pot-luck appetizer I sliced a baguette, put goat cheese on it, dripped the Tupelo honey on that and added a Spanish almond as a topper. Wow.

Comment: I have purchased this honey in the Atlanta Metro area for a few years now. It is hands down THE BEST honey I have ever eaten. So buttery-it makes my homemade granola taste like it has a pound of butter in it, but it doesn't have any! Just this fabulous Tupelo honey. It never crystallizes, either!Buy the BIG ONE!
