Try'umsee's Wings Wings (A Gullah Folktale)

Patricia Bee is the founder of BeeYond Limits Educational Support Systems, a company that was established to promote literacy and the limitless possibilities for today's youth. A native of Beaufort, South Carolina, Patricia has taught for two decades in the public school system and encourages students to strive for excellence as she is featured at schools, conferences, and community outreaches. A graduate of Beaufort High School, the University of South Carolina, and Iowa State University of Science and Technology, Patricia is a writing consultant with the LowCountry Writing Project. Her two books Mama's Pearls and TryUmSee's Wings have been widely read in schools and learning centers across the state, and have reached as far as Ghana and South Africa.
