Comment: UNIQUE. This honey when savored on the tip of your tongue has a slightly peppery flavor then slides down as a very buttery taste. Two flavors experienced separately w/ this honey. Try the small jar as a test. I am certain you will be delighted. My husband & I love this to add variety to our honey stash.

Comment: This is my second fave next to the Acacia. The mild flavor make this one great for just sitting back with a dish full and a spoon Winnie the pooh style. Did i mention I love honey.

Comment: I visited the store in Savannah two years ago and was able to taste all of the honeys offered. I love the Black Sage honey! I find it to be very mild and great for adding to a cup of lemon sweetened black tea. As it is very mild, I wouldn't use it in any application that requires a strong flavor (like honey butter). But it has a nice herbal sweetness that goes very well to sweeten tea drinks or drizzle atop fruit and yogurt for dessert.
