Sweet Rolls


* 1 cup milk

* 1/4 cup Savannah Bee Tupelo Honey

* 1/4 cup shortening

* 1 teaspoon salt

* 2 cakes compressed or 2 packets dry granular yeast

* 1/4 cup lukewarm water

* 2 eggs

* 5 cup flour (about)


Soften yeast in lukewarm water.

Scald milk and place in a large bowl. Add Savannah Bee Tupelo Honey, shortening, salt, and softened yeast. Add beaten eggs and half the flour. Beat well. Add rest of flour. Mix well. Knead on a lightly floured board until smooth. Place in lightly greased bowl. Cover and let rise until double in bulk. Punch down and form into rolls or a coffee cake. Let rise again.

Bake at 400-425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
