Pecan Rolls


* 1/2 cup butter or margarine

* 1 cup Savannah Bee Sourwood Honey

* 1 cup pecan halves

* Sweet Roll Dough (recipe link below)


When Sweet Dough (link: is light, punch down and let rest a few minutes. Roll out in sheet 1/2 inch thick. Brush with butter and spread with Savannah Bee Sourwood Honey. Roll as a jelly roll and seal edge firmly. Cut into 1 inch slices.

In bottom of the baking pan place butter cut into small pieces. Spread Savannah Bee Sourwood Honey over this and scatter with pecans. Place rolls 1 inch apart on this mixture. Cover and let rise until double in bulk.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Let rolls stand in pans 1 minute after baking before turning them out. If greased muffin pans are used, place 1 teaspoon butter and 1 teaspoon Savannah Bee Sourwood Honey in each muffin cup.
