Oatmeal with Pumpkin Spice Honey

A warm honey hug for a chilly morning when you aren’t awake enough to manage anything more than the microwave or a kettle. The right spiced honey can take a basic packet of oatmeal to something very special in just a few minutes.

Oatmeal with Pumpkin Spice Honey
(instant oats, fruit + pumpkin spice honey)
Serves 1

What you need:
1 package plain instant oats, prepared according to directions
1/3 cup sliced fruit (we used banana and cherries)
1 tablespoon Savannah Bee Company Pumpkin Spice Whipped Honey or Savannah Bee Company Whipped Honey with Cinnamon, plus more for drizzling

What to do:

1. Wash Up!

2. Make and serve the oatmeal: Stir pumpkin spice honey into your prepared oats while hot, top with cut fruit and drizzle a little extra honey over the top.

Pro Tip: To take this easy breakfast to the next level you can make old fashioned oats in a large batch and keep in the fridge ready to be warmed up every day. Add a few splashes of your milk of choosing to the amount you’d like and warm in a microwave. Add spices, honey and fruit to your liking.
